Conspiracy Science on Infidel Guy Show

Filed under: Features, What could possibly go wrong?, Zeitgeist — Tags: , , , — Special Ed @ 01:51

This coming Thursday at 8 PM ET, I'm going to be on the Infidel Guy Show discussing my Zeitgeist debunking. So tune in and maybe you'll hear something you haven't already read on the site. I'm not 100% sure on the exact content of the discussion just yet, and I'll update with more details once I have an idea.

The Infidel Guy is an outspoken atheist and advocate for freethinking, just like myself, and his show covers related topics... and you know what, I'm just going to copy/paste his own description:

Since 1999, The Infidel Guy show has brought you uninterrupted freethought and science-minded guests such as Michio Kaku, Dan Barker, Ken Miller, Michael Shermer, Asia Carrera, Richard Dawkins, Massimo Pigliucci, James Randi and many others. At our site and on our show we take a truthful and investigative look at religious beliefs, political systems, social issues, economic systems, the paranormal, pseudo-science and scientific claims.

  1. I found some more interviews of Acharya S on the Infidel Guy show:

It will be interesting to see if the Infidel Guy defends Acharya/Zeitgeist's claims, since she has appeared on his show several times.

@Sky, she isnt Acharya S anymore, she is herself 'DM Murdock'. She can call herself whatever she wants, she is still a genuine wingnut in my opinion. I cringe every time she is on the Infidelguy Show

    Sky Reply:

I haven't read her books or anything, but she sounds crazy to me. I have heard the Infidel Guy a few times, and he sounded like a smart enough guy. I just don't understand how anyone can take someone seriously who thinks that "God's Son" is the same as "God's Sun". How does someone even justify that?

  2. I listened to most of your appearance on the Infidel Guy's show. I notice that you pointed out the contradictory claims made about the Federal Reserve and the income tax. The people who denounce Fed notes as "thin air" and the like treat this currency as the most precious thing they own when tax time comes around. As I learned in a college economics course, and as I keep trying to explain to "real money" cranks, Fed notes have value precisely because the government accepts them as payment for taxes. A true "collar collapse" can't happen unless the government one day refused Fed notes and required us to pay our taxes in beaver pelts or canned food or something.

Exactly. What more can I say? =)

  3. I wasn't able to listen to the show live. Do you guys know when the Infidel Guy is going to have the show in his archive?

    Sky Reply:

I see it is archived now. Unfortunetly, the sound quality is very bad, it kept cutting out when Edward was speaking.

  4. Sorry Edward,

I have to reply to you over here on the 9/11 topic which was 'closed' for whatever reason. I must admit while I do respect and agree with most of your findings on Zeitgeist 'holywood flicks', there are still some of your references which are quite questionable.
Anyway, I hope you can be more open to rebuttals as I think you could've mixed up Conspiracy with Science sometimes. Please don't degrade your site by claiming blatant conclusions such as the '9/11' verdict when it's clear you have also missed out a lot of credible sources on your part of the research. You seem to just attack every point and come up with the opposite claim all the time, which makes me start to doubt your open-mindedness, neutrality and professionalism. I just don't want to see this great site goes down as another Zeitgeist fanatic movement crap.

Just another side of the coin among aothers:

    Take care and bye.

I told you to post on the forums, not another old blog post, I wasn't joking.

    >> I must admit while I do respect and agree with most of your findings on Zeitgeist 'holywood flicks', there are still some of your references which are quite questionable.

Then point them out and tell me why they're questionable/wrong.

You obviously haven't read the rest of my site. I guess I say COINTELPRO is real because in reality it's not real?

    >> I just don't want to see this great site goes down as another Zeitgeist fanatic movement crap.

I don't think you even know what you're talking about.

So you link me to a conspiracy site with something already debunked countless times within the first couple of paragraphs?

"Several of the alleged "19 Arab terrorists" had attended flight schools in Florida (their instructors regarded them as incompetent)"

That's not even close to being true, it was that Hani Hanjour had bad English, but they all passed their courses. If you think they really were incompetent, even though no instructor actually said that, maybe you should question the flight programs here in the US.
