   This makes me think of psychological profiling: If you know that someone tortured animals or set fires as a child, that raises the probability that he has turned into a serial killer as an adult.

   Similarly, if you know that someone identifies with Austrian economics, that raises the probability that he holds other crank beliefs.

    Its fucking scary, makes sense so. Alex Jones has the most popular podcast the last time I checked. And correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure he appealed to joining milita groups more than ones on his show.
    If you are really convinced that your own gouvernment is out to put you in a concentration camp its probably sane to join a milita group, even so the starting point of that reasoning is absurd.
    Its really scary so if that people actually really believe there is some higher law (constitution?) they can invoke in order to offend the law made by their government, which they disregard.

    That article in reference to the Holocaust Museum shooter:

    "Von Brunn had previously been arrested for kidnapping members of the Federal Reserve Board"

    I had never heard that before, I did hear that he was arrested for bringing in a shotgun or something into a Federal Reserve Board meeting... but nothing about a kidnapping. Maybe it was both.

    @ cranberrysauce:

    I think Fed bankers have a bad reputation they don't deserve. If some Fed policies cause problems, you need to change the policies, not literally shoot the people who carry them out.
